The Yamaha NP-15 is a new 61-key keyboard that takes the Piaggero signature concept of Slim, Light, and Compact to a new level. It features high-quality voices and expresses Piaggero’s piano sound more realistic than ever before, with an improved Grand Piano Sound, 64-note Polyphony, Recording Function, USB to Host connectivity, compatible with Digital Piano Controller app (V1.1) and is compatible with the UD-BT01 USB wireless Bluetooth MIDI Adaptor.

Advanced Wave Memory (AWM) Stereo Sampling
AWM, Advanced Wave Memory Stereo sampling is a sampling system, creating superb wave data that mirrors the sound and expression of the original instrument by using advanced digital technologies. It creates a unique, rich sound by using multiple waveforms.
Built-in Stereo Speaker System
Yamaha’s acoustic technology furnishes the Piaggero’s powerful sound—a sound that belies its compact size, featuring resonant grand piano-style bass notes and beautifully detailed treble tones.
The Piaggero features the sound of a Yamaha full concert grand, the CFIIIS. The sound was sampled from a piano with a bright, transparent tone, a spacious treble, and an overall solid sonic feel.
The NP-15 is equipped with a larger amplifier than its smaller sibling, the NP-15. So, this provides for a more robust bass and greater overall volume.

Like conventional pianos, the keys on the NP-15 are heavier in the bass register and lighter in the treble. Yamaha call this their Graded Soft Touch action keyboard. Experience the piano-like feel and light touch of this new keyboard.

Battery Power or AC adaptor
The NP-15 can be used with an AC adaptor, but it is just at home running off batteries!
Auto Power Off mode
This is a new, eco-friendly mode. The Yamaha NP-15 Piaggero comes with a function that turns off the power automatically if the keyboard hasn’t been played for 30 minutes. So, this avoids using power unnecessarily, which supports long battery life.
Link With Smart Pianist for Even More Convenience
Connect the instrument to Yamaha’s “Smart Pianist” app, which is developed exclusively for use with Yamaha’s digital pianos. This awesome app allows for even more intuitive operation than when operating the instrument itself. Plus, as well as operating the instrument itself, Smart Pianist can also display music scores.
