As part of the Ibanez Premium Series, the Ibanez JEM77P BFP Steve Vai Signature Electric Guitar is a high quality instrument created for the working pro. This latest incarnation sports a custom floral design influenced by the original version. The JEM77P starts with an American Basswood body covered in a stunning Blue Floral pattern that maintains its unique color scheme with matching blue pickups, selector switch and control knobs. This theme continues up the neck with an elegant blue Tree of Life inlay that prominently stretches along the contrasting Maple fingerboard. The Wizard neck includes Jumbo frets, finished with the Premium Fret Edge Treatment for smooth, comfortable performance.

The Edge Zero II bridge features a lower profile design for comfort, and stud lock function for superior tuning stability. Electronics include two DiMarzio Gravity Storm pickups (one at the neck, one in the bridge) and a DiMarzio Evolution single coil pickup in the middle position.

These pickups are made by DiMarzio specifically for JEM Guitars and are designed to reproduce more harmonic overtones than conventional pickups.
