ProBucker™ humbucker Pickups
The classic “P.A.F” sound is closer than you think.
Epiphone’s ProBucker™ humbucker has become one of the most talked-about pickups in the industry. It has impressed experts, vintage purists, and luthiers who have worked with the best vintage examples. These pickups deliver exceptional performance. They use 18% Nickel Silver for the unit bases and covers. Gibson used the same alloy at the Kalamazoo factory when it first invented the humbucker. The Nickel Silver reduces eddy currents, offering a more transparent and crisp output. The size and shape of the bobbins directly impact tonal response. ProBucker™ pickups duplicate the size and shape of Gibson humbuckers. They feature sand-cast Alnico II magnets and high-quality 4-conductor lead wire. The pickups undergo vacuum wax potting to eliminate microphonics.
