Description
Fender Bassman Driver
The Fender Bassman Driver pedal has all your basses covered. Drawing inspiration from the original tube amp line, it carries forward Fender’s legacy of sub-sonic signal processing. The Bassman pedal line features a collection of carefully designed analog and digital circuits, all created specifically for bass-centric tonal expansion.
This pedal allows you to conjure a range of gain tones, from subtle tube-like breakup to full-on, high-gain chunk. By combining JFET circuitry with dynamic clipping stages, the Bassman Driver emulates the behavior of a bass tube amp pushed to the point of breakup. The result is a rich, authentic sound that retains the character of a traditional tube amp.
You can further shape your tone with the voice switch. Flick it into the up position to add an extra layer of clipping, giving you a heavier, modern distortion voice. This setting pushes the pedal into high-gain territory, perfect for aggressive playing. In addition to the voice switch, the mids switch allows you to dial in two distinct levels of growl, adding more control over your tone’s presence and character.
The internal tone control lets you fine-tune the high-frequency content of your sound, ensuring it matches your personal preferences. To keep your low end solid, the blend control ensures your clean tone remains in the mix. By blending the body and dynamics of your clean signal with the fuzz or distortion, you can preserve the richness and depth of your bass while exploring a wide range of distortion tones. This pedal lets you shape your bass tone with precision and flexibility, making it a must-have for any bassist.
