Batter Head Options:
Evans Power Center Reverse Dot snare heads have a nice, fat backbeat, with solid rebound and damped overtones. The coated single ply of 10mil film provides a definitive snare sound, while the 5mil center dot on the underside, made with unique slots which allow it to flex, keeps the head open and resonant with added durability. EVANS Power Center Reverse Dot snare heads have a balanced attack, above average sustain and brightness, and moderate durability. This coated drumhead also features Level 360 Technology.
Evans Genera Dry snare heads deliver a well-focused, yet natural tone. Made with a single ply of coated 10mil film, a 2mil overtone control ring, and precision-drilled dry vents, this head responds like a single ply while eliminating any lingering overtones. Genera Dry snare batters provide a balanced attack, short sustain, and dark tone, plus the added durability of Evans premium coating. This coated head also features Level 360 Technology.
Evans HD (Heavy Duty) Dry snare heads balance durability and sonic response with advanced overtone control provided by precision-drilled dry vents. HD Dry heads are made with a coated outer ply of 5mil film and an inner ply of 7.5mil film, plus a 2mil control ring on the underside of the head and dry vents around the perimeter to eliminate stray overtones. HD Dry heads have a semi-defined attack, with short sustain and a bit less brightness than standard HD heads. This coated head also features Level 360 Technology.
Snare Side:
Evans Snare Side 300 drumheads are the best-selling model of the Evans Snare Side series. This drumhead features a single ply of 3mil film, designed to provide all levels with a wide dynamic range and controlled snare response, incorporated with Evans Level 360 Technology for ease of tuning, extended pitch range, and optimum quality of sound.
