Maton SRS60 Acoustic / Electric Guitar
It’s not often you see the Maton SRS60 guitar, especially in a tobacco sunburst finish! This guitar is a limited model that Maton make from time to time and is absoultely stunning. The SRS60 also features the AP5 Pro pickup, making it sound even better.
Built for the rigours of the road, the Maton SRS60 Solid Road Series acoustic electric guitar boasts all-solid timbers construction. With Queensland Maple back and sides and an A Grade Spruce Top, it also features a Queensland Maple Neck, plus a Rosewood Fingerboard and Bridge. The SRS60 comes with the Maton AP5 Pro Pickup System installed, which has become the benchmark for live acoustic sound over the last decade.
The new Maton SRS series of guitars is the culmination of years of development and fine tuning by Maton’s senior luthiers and production designers.
Maton have improved the neck geometry, bracing patterns and body construction of their acoustic guitars with stunning results and improved production methods have made it possible to produce these all-solid timber guitars more effectively than ever before and the playability and tonal benefits are amazing.
The backs and tops of these impressive guitars resonate more freely, so they have a huge dynamic range. The ramped bracing of this SRS60 creates a focused, bright tone.
Improved neck/body geometry produces a neck that is a joy to play. Difficult chord shapes and complex single note runs are much easier to execute and increased tonal response improves acoustic projection. A bone nut and saddle ensure maximum tone and sustain.
Finished in Maton’s tuned Satin pre-catalysed Nitro finish, these guitars redefine what is possible in a production-built guitar!
