The Cort Core-OC represents Cort’s new premium line of all solid guitars. These instruments have a richer and bolder sound compared to similar guitars that only feature a solid top. Cort keep these instruments simple and true to sound with an open pore finish, and a preamp mounted under the sound hole.

OM Cutaway Body Shape

The OM’s compact size is ideal for players with a small body frame or seeking playing comfort. The bright and stronger high-midrange emphasis is more suited for finger picking than strumming which often requires more low-end. The Venetian cutaway on this model allows easy access to the high frets.

Fishman® Sonitone

Installed internally, the Sonitone EQ system retains all the natural resonance and the pure acoustic sound that other systems can’t. The controls are simple to use as well with only Volume and Tone.

Ovangkol Fretboard with Mahogany Neck

Ovangkol shares similar tone characteristics as Rosewood with a warm and slightly fuller midrange. The combination of Ovangkol fretboard with Mahogany neck produces a warmer mixture of balanced tone with deep sustain that is suitable for an acoustic guitar.

Genuine Bone Nut & Saddle

Crafted out of water buffalo bone for the most natural and transparent transfer of string vibrational energy into the body and neck.

Open Pore Finish
